Has anyone seen green parrotts in the Hyde Park in London?
Q. I have seen some green parrotts in Hyde Park, I found it very unusual so I googled it, but I couldn't find any info about them. How come they are living there? What happens in winter? If anyone knows anything about them, let me know. :)

A. The green parrots are parakeets, and they have been spreading out from their apparent base in Kingston, for the last few years, I saw a pair on Clapham Common yesterday ...There are several groups in the trees alongside the Thames at Kingston, they seem to be quite hardy ... Their screech is quite unmistakable, and they are swift in flight, I have no idea how they survive, or what they eat, ... As far as I'm concerned they are welcome ...Smile !

Good morning, is it cool that I'm going to cycle from Stratford in East London to Hyde Park?
Q. ... And not use any motorised transport ... I'll stop at Tower Bridge, London Eye, and Hyde Park.
