What color highlights should I get and how much do they cost at a solan?
Q. I was thinking about highlights for my birthday. I have black hair thats VERY thick... If I have thick hair will that affect the highlights? What color should I get ? How much will it cost? Should i get just the tips? Thanks you :D!

A. Firstly,if you decide to just go to a natural looking brown, then yes your cooper highlights will soak the colour in the beginning and become closely the same colour as the rest of your hair, but with time and fading, your originally highlighted sections will become lighter and lighter, but will not go lighter than what they were to begin with. I've stopped swimming, and am giving my hair some time to heal from the chlorine and then I'm going to get highlights before school starts in late august :D I don't really know what color to get tho :/ My (asian) friends who have highlights have brownish hair to start with.
